Koi and the Kola Nuts: A Tale from Liberia

Koi inherits a kola tree after his father dies. Koi decides to see the world, so he picks the kola nuts and takes them with him to start his journey. On his way, he makes friends with a snake, some ants, and a crocodile, all of whom he saves by using the kola nuts. When he stumbles upon a village, his new friends help him with three important tasks that must be completed before he can marry the village chief's daughter. With rich color illustrations throughout.
