Last Night on Earth

This is the autobiography of Bill T. Jones, the avant-garde African-American dancer whose performance "Still/Here" incited lively debate on the nature of art. Jones recounts his childhood in rural Florida, his bohemian years in Amsterdam and San Francisco, his long term relationship with choreographer Arnie Zane, who died of AIDS, and his creative work as the directory of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company.
