This life of the famous Dickens character Jacob Marley, of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, reveals him to be a conflicted man in life who is able to redeem himself only after death. In a touch worthy of Dickens himself, the author is donating a portion of his profits from the novel to an organization whose aim is to eliminate child labor abuses around the world.
