Don't miss this one!, April 3, 2007

"Years ago, I began teaching my middle-school age son at home, and my then four-year-old daughter requested "Homeschool me!" After lots of research, I had found Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. I can't begin to say how wonderful this reading program is! Some advice if you have a pre-schooler: wait until he or she is READY to learn, then let him or her set the pace with this book.
We purposefully made a big deal out of completing each lesson by using colorful reward stickers. We followed this book with the BOB BOOKS series.
My daughter is now ten years old and is reading 7th grade level books. She is a wonderfully independent reader and a definite book lover!"
