The Tower: A Story of Humility

In this story set in ancient China, a haughty man sets out to prove that he is better than anyone else by being physically above them. Determined to always be the highest up, the man builds a huge tower so that he can look down upon his fellow villagers. What will the man do when he learns that it is an old woman, and not himself, that his neighbors hold in the highest regard? Illustrated with oil paintings.
