Mr. Popper is a house painter who lives in a small American town with his wife and two children. It has always been Mr. Popper's dream to travel to Antarctica and see real live penguins, so when he hears that an explorer named Admiral Drake is going on an Antarctic expedition, Mr. Popper writes him a letter. Admiral Drake responds by sending Mr. Popper his very own penguin. As the story progresses, Mr. Popper soon has a family of 10 penguins. What will he do with these unusual pets?
