The Busy, Busy World of Richard Scarry

A biography of the author of such children's books as "Mr. Frumble's Bedtime Stories" and the "Busytown" series. Scarry (1919-1994) began his career illustrating the works of other authors, but he is more well-known for writing and illustrating his own works, which feature such endearing characters as Lowly Worm and Huckle Cat. Color illustrations and photographs accompany the text.
