"I found this movie quite delightful.
The story line is excellent, and even more so because it is based on a true story. The newsboys - many of whom are orphans or 'street kids' easily win my sympathies, and the villain who abuses the boys easily wins my hatred!
The Newsie's songs are very fun and full of action. Very well done.
There's a little bit of immodesty where the dance-hall girl is concerned and a little teeny bit of romance. The romance is quite innocent, though, and not worthy of being rated PG.
Overall a very enjoyable family film."
